Villakurt is GOHM Electronics' real-world R&D environment, where products and emerging technologies are deployed, measured, and stress-tested in everyday conditions — not in a lab, but in an actual home, garden, and field in Menteşe, Muğla.
The three pillars
Each domain runs on shared infrastructure — the same sensors, network, and data pipeline feed every experiment.
Whole-house automation on Home Assistant: multi-zone heating and a heat-pump hot-water system, motorized window shutters, AI security cameras that recognize people, vehicles and even livestock, an EV charger, and robot vacuums — all locally controlled, privacy-first, no cloud lock-in.
How smart heating works →Data-driven irrigation: scheduled morning and evening watering tied to an on-site meteorology station, with well water-level monitoring to manage the supply. Everything logs to InfluxDB for long-term analysis — and robotic field systems are coming soon.
Aerial layer flown by a DJI Mini 3 Pro via DroneLink: automated daily mapping and image capture over the site, building a time-lapse record of the land. Aerial security surveillance is coming soon.

The idea
Most technology gets tested in isolation. Villakurt takes the opposite approach: smart home, smart farming, and drone systems share a single roof, a single network, and a single source of truth for data. That overlap is where the interesting problems live — and where the real learning happens.
It's the proving ground for GOHM Electronics — a place to deploy products, measure what actually works in the field, and iterate fast. Everything here runs on self-hosted, open infrastructure.
